The Maison de la Baie d’Audierne Tréguennec

DiscoverHistoryNature

As the most expansive dune area in Finistère, the Bay of Audierne is a fragile natural environment that needs protection. Shaped by ocean and winds, it is home to exceptional fauna, flora and landscapes. Established in Tréguennec, the Maison des Paluds is a visitor center providing a range of interpretative facilities: a reading room, exhibitions and film viewings

The Association of Friends of the Bay of Audierne organizes a host of activities to immerse yourself in the life of the Bay such as workshops to learn about how sand dunes and wetlands function, how pebble ridges form, how to recognize the various species’ habitats, discovering numerous birds and different plants or even to delve into the history of its people.
